PARTNERSHIP FOR LEARNING (P4L) UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
The Partnership for Learning (P4L) Undergraduate Program is sponsored by
the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State.
The Bureau fosters mutual understanding between the United States and other
countries through educational exchange and training programs.
P4L Program provides students from Serbia with scholarships for one academic
year of undergraduate, non-degree study in the United States in the humanities
and social sciences. Participants are placed at colleges and universities
throughout the United States that are selected through a competitive process.
Students take courses in the areas of their specialization as well as classes
outside their major fields. Students live in university dormitories and have
the opportunity to participate in campus organizations and activities. They
are also required to take part in community service activities in order to
gain a better understanding of U.S. society and values.
