USDA Trains Serbian Dairies on Enhancing Production Using HACCP

June 18-20, the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) office at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade organized a successful training workshop for 60 participants the from Serbian dairy industry on effective disease prevention practices and management. Participants at the workshop included veterinary inspection service staff, academic institutions, private veterinary practitioners, and diary producers and processors. The training, conducted by U.S. experts from Iowa State University, focused on disease prevention practices using Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) techniques on dairy farms.

HACCP was effectively demonstrated to be a flexible management vehicle for production and health issues. Participants gained valuable experience in identifying relevant issues and implementing the HACCP system on dairy farms that will help increase the quality of raw milk, enable a longer shelf life and more milk production in the market place.

Ministarstvo poljoprivrede SAD obučava srpske proizvođače mleka kako da poboljšaju proizvodnju korišćenjem HACCP-a

Odeljenje za poljoprivredu ambasade SAD u Beogradu organizovalo je od 18. do 20. juna 2008. godine uspešnu radionicu o efikasnoj prevenciji i upravljanju bolestima za 60 učesnika iz srpske mlečne industrije. Učesnici ovog seminara bili su predstavnici veterinarskih inspekcija, akademskih institucija, privatni veterinari, kao i proizvođači prerađivači mleka. Ova radionica, koju su vodili američki stručnjaci sa univerziteta Savezne države Ajova, bila je fokusirana na prakse prevencije bolesti korišćenjem HACCP (Analiza rizika i kritične kontrolne tačke) metoda na farmama mleka.

Prikazana je efikasnost HACCP-a kao fleksibilnog sredstva upravljanja za probleme u proizvodnji i zdravstvu. Učesnici su stekli izuzetno iskustvo u identifikaciji relevantnih problema i primeni HACCP sistema na farmama mleka, a koji će doprineti boljem kvalitetu sirovog mleka, dugotrajnosti proizvoda i većoj proizvodnji mleka na tržištu.
