The U.S. Embassy Sponsors American Guitarists Dusan Bogdanovic and Miroslav Tadic at the Guitar Art Festival’s 10th Anniversary

To mark the 10th Anniversary of the Guitar Art Festival, the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade is sponsoring performances by professional guitarists Dusan Bogdanovic and Miroslav Tadic. Born in Serbia, these American artists are among the finest guitarists of our time, performing throughout the United States and around the world. The festival gathers classical guitarists, primary and secondary music school students and teachers, university professors, eminent guests and some of the greatest world guitarists. The essential educational goal of this festival is the exchange of knowledge, practice, experience and introducing worldwide trends of modern guitar teaching.

Dusan Bogdanovic will perform at Kolarac Hall on February 11, 2009 at 20h and Miroslav Tadic, Vlatko Stefanovski and Thodosy Spassov will perform at Sava Center on February 13th, 2009 at 20h. Ambasada SAD pomogla američke gitariste Dušana Bogdanovića i Miroslava Tadića na desetogodišnjici Gitar art festivala

Obeležavajući desetogodišnjicu Gitar art festivala, Ambasada SAD u Beogradu je podržala koncerte profesionalnih gitarista Dušana Bogdanovića i Miroslava Tadića. Rodjeni u Srbiji, ovi američki umetnici su medju najboljim gitaristima našeg vremena koji su nastupali u Americi i širom sveta. Festival okuplja klasične gitariste, učenike osnovnih i srednjih muzičkih škola i njihove nastavnike, profesore sa univerziteta, eminentne ličnosti i najveće svetske gitariste. Osnovni cilj ovog festivala jeste razmena ideja, iskustva i upoznavanje svetskih tokova učenja moderne gitare.
